Silver Jewellery:

All our Silver Jewellery is 925 Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Fine silver (99.9% pure) is generally too soft for producing useful objects. In Sterling Silver, the silver is usually alloyed with copper to give strength whilst preserving high precious metal content which ideal for making silver jewellery. Commonly you will find the mark “925” on anything in the UK made from sterling silver. 925 Silver is generally marked for resale with the stamp “925” or “.925” The minimum silver content can also be stated as 925 parts per thousand of pure silver.
